Mystery Babylon
In part one of this chapter, we discussed the beasts whom the apostle John mentions in the book of Revelation and also in Daniel. We learned of the immoral relationship between the beast and the harlot. Let’s now take a closer look at this woman and her role.
“So he [an angel of the Lord] carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. And on her forehead a name was written:
Rev 17:3-6
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.”
“And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

Babylon: noun 1. A city devoted to materialism and sensual pleasure
Babylon represents many different types in the Word. Recall back in chapter one, that we made a distinction between the empire of Babylonia and her capitol city, Babylon. This is important because metaphorically a capitol city represents the leadership of a nation. As an example, the term “Washington” is often used to describe the general leadership of the United States of America, where as the “White House” is used to describe the presidential role specifically.
Just as The Lord likens His bride to a city, so does Satan his bride. This mystery Babylon, we see in Revelation is the capital city of a nation. As Spiritual Israel is ruled by New Jerusalem, so is the nation of Babylon ruled by the city of Babylon. It is not the city of Washington D.C. that is important, except the seat of power it represents, it’s capitol, or head of state. This corporate harlot represents Satan’s bride and his first fruits. This is Satan’s ruling governmental system in spiritual Babylon. She is a corporate body in the earth, who receives power from Satan’s demonic forces, just as the church receives help from Jesus and the angel armies. She sits (rides and has dominion over) upon every metaphorical beast (the summation of the spirits of all beasts before it) which take governmental authority in the natural, ruling over the peoples, nations, multitudes in the earth. In essence, she uses the beasts to do her dirty work.
A nation having a queen, also has need of a king. Her King, or husband is Satan.
It shall come to pass in the day the LORD gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve, that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say: “How the oppressor has ceased, The golden city ceased! The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, The scepter of the rulers. He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, He who ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted and no one hinders.
Isaiah 14:3-14:6
This verse is foretelling the future destruction of Babylon, however watch what happens in vs 12.
“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, On the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
Isaiah 14:12-14
The scripture was discussing the king of Babylon, then we see Lucifer mentioned. This is because they are one in the same. Not in the sense that Nebuchadnezzar was Satan, but that he was operating in the spirit of Satan/Lucifer or Antichrist. This chapter is a perfect example of how prophecy can have multiple fulfilments throughout time. Here we are talking about the natural fulfillment of the destruction of the Babylonian empire by Cyrus, and at the same time it speaks of a future destruction of a future metaphorical Babylon. In each case the capitol city must be conquered in order for the kingdom to change hands.
Daughter of Babylon
Let’s go back to the harlot. She is the head of all false religion, the counterfeit Christ. She can only rule as dominion is given to her by the willingness of men. She is the corporate Jezebel, both the wife and daughter of Satan. She represents a corporate a body of people in the earth who all have the spirit of antichrist as their head. But she also symbolizes the leadership of that body. Just as Jesus extends authority to the bride to lead His Church, so Satan gives authority in his kingdom to the Harlot to lead. These are completely given over to worship the dragon. These are the ones whom rule Satan’s kingdom on earth. They are not powers and principalities, but draw from the demon spirits power to carry out Satan’s plan. They do their work under the cloak of darkness, seducing people, so that they may rule over them.
In order for God’s people to come out from under the Harlot’s reign, is to come under the reign of Christ instead. Remember there are only two true kingdoms in this earth, one of light and one of darkness. But, only one kingdom which shall last eternally because Satan was not given the authority to have ultimate dominion. His bride rides the counterfeit kingdom (beast).
One day I heard the Lord say this…
Let me tell you a mystery son. Dominion was not given to physical man made of dust, but spiritual man made of Me. When Adam sinned, it was the man of dust which eventually died. He lost authority because he gave it up by sinning. Authority in my kingdom comes with my anointing or glory. Adam no longer possessed the authority to have dominion. Satan was not granted that authority, he stole it, but since it was not his to possess, he had to use man to carry it out. That authority is fake son, and cannot ever stand in the presence of the true authority granted only by Me to those whom are mine.”

Into Captivity
The Lord then showed me that Mystery Babylon is not a geographic place or one people, but a Spirit. A mindset. It seeks to control and rule by means of force. This spirit is used to bring God’s people into submission and humility. But for many, their hearts are very hardened. They will not listen, no matter how bad things get. These are the foolish ones, blinded by pride and hate.
Going down to Egypt
When God appoints judgement over a people there is no escaping it. Jeremiah 43 & 44 speak to this point. In these chapters, Jerusalem had just been over throne by the Babylonian army, and many of the people were carried away captive. However, there was a small remnant, mostly farmers, left in the wilderness land. Jeremiah, inquiring of the Lord, instructed them to remain in the land where they would be blessed. The Lord told them specifically not to go to Egypt. But most didn’t listen, so the Lord sent Jeremiah to say…
“Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I will send and bring Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden. And he will spread his royal pavilion over them. When he comes, he shall strike the land of Egypt and deliver to death those appointed for death, and to captivity those appointed for captivity, and to the sword those appointed for the sword.”
Jer 43:10
Here is what the Lord said to me regarding his people today…
My people have been going down to Egypt for many years now. They refuse to see the truth. Calamity after calamity has befallen them, yet they still do not repent. So now I shall turn to the remnant. In her I shall show myself strong. She is coming out [of Bondage], while the others are going in.

There is a great turning about to take place. Those who are truly mine are following the leading to come out from among the heathen. But for the others, their hearts will be hardened all the more so.
You have seen some of the wickedness that happens in Babylon, but I say there is much more that you do not see. These spirits of wickedness are about to be punished for the evil that they have done. The innocent they have destroyed. My precious ones.
Satan is the great puppet master. All the others are puppets in their own sense. He has many commanders and generals in the earth. These work in the darkness and shadows doing the worst kind of evils. It is these I am exposing in this day. These are filled with the spirit of Babylon… of antichrist. Yet many people are waking up to the truth, that Egypt has made them a slave to Babylon. Yes, a turning is coming in American politics. But it will not be to the saving of my remnant, but a deepening of the darkness that is called nationalism. These ones who are seeking for America to be rebuilt are going the wrong way. Instead of running for the hills, they run down to Egypt. But in Egypt they shall only find the sword. From within and without.
We’ll discuss America more later on however; it is import to understand that America as a nation, only has the Lord’s protection if we are abiding in His perfect will. If God deems it necessary for us to need the refining of captivity, then to captivity we will go. If we still won’t go, then it will be to death, or the sword. Better to allow Him to crucify us gently as needed, then to resist His correction. He continues…
“The Jews who were taken to Babylon did not go willingly. Neither has the spiritual church gone willingly. Many stand against the tearony and evil works being done around them. Many cry out to me without undersatnding. Yes, I set this land of America as a refuge… for a time. Just as it will be again… for a time. But it was not the constitution of the United States protecting these people… it was my hand on a godly people. The constitution came out of the freedom of a free people. My people in America have not been enslaved by America, but what America has let in. Just like the Jews in Israel let in other gods and worshipped false idols. They have allowed by their own actions their freedom to be removed and a yoke of bondage placed on their neck. Just like in Nehemiah’s day, all they need to do is repent and all will be well… but they won’t…not yet. Therefore, once again I have a remnant who will(repent and turn to God). Who will come out of Mystery Babylon. Who is she you ask? She is the harlot, the false church that worships man and other gods but not Me. She is the one who says it is ok to love any god and any thing, but not Me, not my son. She hates my ways but claims to do her deeds in My name. To come out of her means to love the things I love and hate that which I hate.”

Unredeemed Israel
Many of you reading this are about to close the book, maybe even burn it because of what I am about to say. However, that doesn’t change what God thinks.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14:6
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
The nation of Israel has a big problem. Most people assume that the nation of Israel today is 100% Jewish, but that is not the case. It is a mix of peoples & religions just like other nations. As we saw in the previous chapter, every nation’s leadership is accountable to God. It would be wonderful to think that all of Israels current leadership were true Jews circumcised in heart. That they all followed the God they claim to serve, in unwavering faith. However, this is simply not the case, as can be seen easily in the decisions of their leadership, if one looks beyond the political correctness of so-called antisemitism.
Let’s look at a very important parable spoken by Jesus.
There was a certain rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was laid at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores.
John 9:39-41
So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s bosom.
The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.” But Abraham said, “Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.”
Then he said, “I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to my father’s house, for I have five brothers, that he may testify to them, lest they also come to this place of torment.”
Abraham said to him, “They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.”
And he said, “No, father Abraham; but if one goes to them from the dead, they will repent.”
But he said to him, “If they do not hear Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded though one rise from the dead.”
Did you catch that? Jesus tells a parable to the Jews, using the name of the one man whom He raised from the dead as a sign onto them of who He was. Do you perceive what he is saying to them? He’s implying that even His own resurrection will not turn their evil hearts, since they can not even receive the Law and Prophets, which spoke of Him. In 2000 years, the Jewish people have still not realized who Christ was. They’ve had plenty of time, they’ve had Christians living among them all this time. There’s not much excuse for someone who says they are seeking and loving God with all their heart, all their soul and all their strength. Or perhaps they are not, and for the most part never have.
And Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”
Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?”
Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.
The only real truth, as we learned earlier, is that truth that comes out of the Spirit of God. If we don’t learn to hear directly from the source then, we are taking our truth mixed with lies, from the heart of men. As Pontius Pilot once said… “What is Truth!”
The Lord spoke this to me…
“Jesus showed who was the synagogue of Satan… those who say they worship Me, when they are not of my family. They worship their farther. The farther of lies, the devil. This is the true mystery Babylon. These men believe that everyone who is not of them is Babylon, but they are themselves deceived. When I say that I am going to judge Babylon, it is not their idea of Babylon, but in fact it is them who are indeed mystery Babylon. They see not how I could, or would judge them, for they believe they have my divine protection and mandate. Much of what has been written about the current nation of Israel is lies. They use anti-semitism as a shield to hide their evil schemes.

The Jewish people rejected Me son. For this they have been blinded to this day. Blinded to the truth, and are indeed fulfilling their parts in prophecy. These wicked men have infiltrated the cultures of all the world. They desire to rule over everyone who is not one of them. Many of these people have taken on NAZI values. They seek control anyway they can get it. You are right… they are the ultra right… red, for the blood of the people which they sacrifice to Satan. There is no republican/democrat. There is good and evil. There are both ultra right in the left and ultra left in the right. They hide in the shadows and do their hidden business. The business of their father the devil. This is mystery Babylon, the harlot son. She is in every aspect of the culture you perceive around you. The culture that does not recognize Me as the source of all things.
I’ve already shown you how I am dealing with these men… the red tide. It is both a blessing and a curse. They believe they have planned this. But no son, they have laid their own trap and they shall fall into it and drown. The truth is coming to the light about what they do behind closed doors. My people are rising up and my people will bring to nothing the plans of the wicked.
Do not underestimate my church son. It is bigger than you think, and the enemy is smaller than you think. It is the remnant who will usher in the great harvest. I say the harvest will be truly great son!
Now, I understand that most Christians would say that is heresy. But, the fact of the matter is the same people who denied Christ 2000 years ago are still denying Him today. Unfortunately, most Christians have been wooed under a carefully conceived spell, to blind their eyes to the truth. Many Christians choose unwavering support for a nation which commits evil all over the earth, because they have been taught that they must in the name of blessing. The real truth is that nowhere in the Bible does it say, “Those who bless Israel will be blessed” as is quoted by most Christians. The verse they refer to, was actually given to Abraham, not Israel.
I will bless those who bless you,
Genesis 12:3
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
It is in Abraham all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Those of the faith of Abraham, circumcised in heart, not the flesh. Do with that what you will, but listen to the testimony of Maryam, an elderly Palestinian Christian.
“We are sad at the eagerness with which Christians are supporting Israel’s brutal war machine, confident that they understand the exact meaning of Old Testament prophecies while apparently not reflecting on how those prophecies relate to Jesus and his teaching to love one’s neighbor as oneself. If Christians can casually quote a biblical passage to justify the death of thousands of women and children, those people may still be sitting in church, but they have departed from Jesus.”

Consider this… According to Wikipedia, sourcing from the Gaza Health Ministry and other organizations, “As of 17 July 2024, over 40,000 people (39,145 Palestinian and 1,478 Israeli) have been reported as killed in the Israel–Hamas war, including 108 journalists (103 Palestinian, 2 Israeli and 3 Lebanese) and over 224 humanitarian aid workers, including 179 employees of UNRWA.”

There is a religious spirit ruling over the hearts of many Christians today which leads them to believe that God is always for the nations of America and Israel. It is the same spirit that says “Americans are good and Russians are evil.” Anyone with half a brain can see past this lie, unless of course they are completely blinded by a religious mindset which binds them to a spirit of nationalism. As Christians, and Jews by faith, are not of any nation made by the hands of men. We are to be allegiant only to the Kingdom of God, and sojourners in this earth, for it is not our home.
Now, please don’t get me wrong. I do not in any way have any bad feelings towards people of a Jewish decent. To me they need Jesus, just like every other person on the earth. The supposed Anti-semitism talk is nothing but a smokescreen. In fact, to be a semite is to be a son of Shem (son of Noah). Today this includes not only Jews, but also all Arabs, and most of the population of the middle east in general. Do you see the irony here?
As I finish this chapter in July of 2024, the nation state of Israel continues its all-out war to eliminate everyone in the Gaza Strip. What many people do not realize though, is that the motivations here are heavily influenced by greed and political power. These motivations just happen to include billions and billions of dollars in offshore gas, and a planned canal which must run through Gaza. Google it for yourself. Yet even this is not enough… Israel’s leaders are at this moment about to enter a full-scale war with Lebanon to the north.
In prayer I asked the Lord which side He was on. The answer I received was certainly not what I expected. He directed me to read Deuteronomy 9. For context, the nation of Israel is about to exit the wilderness, cross over the Jordan river and enter the promised land. But, God has a few words to speak to them before they do.
Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiff necked people.
Deuteronomy 9:5-6 KJV
Moses recounts how angry God was at them previously during their wilderness time…
“Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.”
Deu 9:14
That verse really caught my attention. God is very clear here, he is not giving Israel the land because they deserve it. Instead, simply because he promised Abraham he would. More so, he was at several points so displeased with these people, that he wanted to destroy all of them from the face of the earth. Why, because they were stiff necked, wanting to do their own thing! God offers to make a new nation out of Moses, one mightier and greater than Israel. So great was the Lords fury, that Moses has to beg and plead God to spare them. It seems here, that even after forty years in the wilderness God has not changed his viewpoint much regarding his chosen people. They are still stiff necked and undeserving.
In regards to which political side God was on, Abba replied to me, “Neither! All these people have turned away from Me. They are stubborn people who will not see My mercy through Jesus Christ.” When he said all these people, I understood that to mean all nations including the Jews and Arabs alike. Abba then said to me… “A Nation is Rising!” The nation God is speaking about is the one which belongs to Him! It is the nation of his body, under the Kingship of Jesus Christ, his first fruit leadership and his bride. In other words his end time remnant. This body, represented as the woman of revelation 12, is the nation which God was promising to Moses. A nation with the law of Moses written and circumcised on their hearts, not in mere flesh. In closing this chapter I want to mention one last thing the Lord showed me. God says “but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.” Just as in the days of old, The Lord is making room for his people to dwell in the land safely. His people are “His Nation” as discussed a moment ago. He uses beast empires, nations and rulers to direct His people along the path he has chosen. In this season, I absolutely believe God is doing what he has promised to do… go before his people and drive out the wickedness from the land. He is not above using stiff necked nations to destroy one another, even if they are what people consider his chosen. He will make room for his remnant, his bride…his church. Satan, the harlot, the beasts and antichrist(s) will all play a role in it. Yet for those nations which rise up against his people… judgement awaits, America & Israel Included.
