Building a Kingdom sphere by faith!
You’ve heard of agriculture, maybe aquaculture, but what is Kingdom culture?
Biosphere: 1) the part of the world in which life can exist, 2) living organisms together with their environment
Agriculture: the art or science of cultivating the ground, including the harvesting of crops, and the rearing and management of live stock; tillage; animal husbandry… farming.

Aquaculture refers to the cultivation of aquatic organisms in a controlled environment.

To be successful, a farmer must first understand the needs and relationships of the organisms within an ecosystem, then build an environment where the desired results can be sustained and flourish.
These needs may include such things as Temperature, Nutrient source, Air quality (atmosphere), Water, Substructure (soil), Sunlight, Ecology & Biology.
Kingdom Culture defined:
- The act of cultivating an environment where the fruits of the Kingdom of God may flourish.

Building this fish tank, with it’s diversity of life was the fulfillment of a dream for me. The lessons I leaned were immeasurable. To recreate such a delicate environment which not only sustains life, but creates it was a very fulfilling experience for me. Doing so required a massive commitment and much patience.
It also involved a tremendous amount of planning and testing. Hundreds a different variables must all be set and adjusted until hopefully you arrive at a system which as stable and sustainable as possible. Consider for a moment how God created not a simple fish tank in someone’s home, but a home for every living being on this planet!
Inspiration and direction
One day during my prayer time, when I was asking The Lord for direction for our farm, He said, “Build the environment where My Kingdom can flourish!”
I asked The Lord, “What effects can I have on the environment Father?”
You can affect everything son. Your faith is the great building block. You have the power to bring rain or to cause drought. To move the earth. To bring sun or create shade. My people need all these things but above all else, they need to see faith. Show them how to build. Let them see your faith in action as you build these things.
Abba
You must envision what you desire to see happen then speak it out. Let it be heard in word or speech. Proclaim the outcome and you shall see it manifest. It is not enough for you to say “I believe something may happen!” Proclaim what will happen. Prophesy to the trees and mountains. Faith is the design! It’s seeing what is not, and seeing what can be. It’s arranging the pieces to best work together. It is beauty for ashes!

Cultivating a Kingdom Sphere:
Our fish tank had many intrinsic benefits including:
- Artistic beauty.
- Fulfillment in the achievement of sustaining life.
- Peacefulness
- A source of income (from the sales of the aquatic corals we raised.)
- It offered what we believed was a well suited environment to the creatures which lived in it. In other words, they had the freedom to flourish.
Now stretch your imagination with me for a moment… Imagine a community of God’s people, living in an environment where they had the freedom to flourish and lead joyous, fulfilling lives as God intended. What would that look like?
Kingdom Culture creating the perspective:
From the inside looking out…
The environment would offer a place of freedom, protection, provision, shelter, fellowship, learning and community. There would also be a natural balanced order where all its elements worked harmoniously with each other for the purpose of building the Kingdom of God.
From the outside looking in…
For those on the outside looking in, it would clearly make a distinction between the world kingdom and God’s Kingdom, by demonstrating The Kingdom of Heaven in operation on the Earth first hand. It would also be a live demonstration of faith in action, as well as Christ like submission to God’s divine order for mankind and all of creation.
Many of those looking in, would recognize its simple beauty and desire to enter into its gates to be part of its blessings.
Fruits of Kingdom culture
A garden of Kingdom Culture would by default have its own specific fruits, as long as all its environmental variables were established so that the crop would flourish. What would that fruit look like?
- Revival – A people saturated with God!
- Godly, faith filled, courageous Leadership.
- A simple and humble people.
- A bride made ready, purified and awaiting her bridegrooms return.
The Kingdom of God at hand… Can it be?
Jesus said it and I believe it! My heavenly Father said to me, “Son go build it!” So I will pick up that torch and run my race. I’ll probably make many mistakes along the way, but I know that my God is with me, He is for me and He never fails me. He is the great I AM!
Kingdom Culture: Tending the Fields of Zion
How do you build a Kingdom Sphere? By Faith… just as God did. Faith in action through obedience, patience and trust.
Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.
Genesis 1:9
I’m ready to start building this Kingdom Sphere, this garden of The Lord’s planting, but to build a community takes many people. Perhaps if you are reading this you are one of them. Contact us to learn more about how you can get involved.
