Our primary objective at First Light Ministries, is to build Intentional Christian communities.
In February 2020, I began to ask The Lord for a clear picture of what His goals were. That I would be able to clearly understand His purpose in using this Ministry of First Light. The following is an excerpt of a conversation we shared on 2/20/20:
The missing piece is the why son. Why are you doing this? Why is it important? How will the community benefit from this? Start from the center and build your way out. Allow me to open your heart and mind to what is possible when my people come together in unity of purpose.

Why Intentional Christian communities?
The reasons I believe this concept is so important right now…
- Jesus is coming soon! He’s not just coming soon, He’s already on His way. We as believers must be ready when He calls.
- As in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the end. There is a flood coming just as in Noah’s day. It may not be a great flood of water, but there is no arguing with scripture after scripture which speak of the great and terrible day of the Lord!
- There is a great revival coming which will usher in the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen. Both for the Kingdom of Heaven and for the kingdom of darkness. For when the sickle is in hand, both the wheat and tares are stuck down.
- There is a dire need for spiritual preparation. God is using the days leading up to and including the coming Tribulation period to make his people ready for that great harvest. The tribulation and great tribulation, the shaking which Jesus references as the times of Jacob’s troubles, are simply a part of God’s great mercy, in preparing His people to be ready when the symbolic doors of the His great ark are finally closed.
God’s goals in this season…
In His words, the goals He desires to see come to pass on Earth in and through His people…
- “That people (of the world/nations) would see my son(s), my family, my people in the Earth, and know that I am God. That they would know the God of Israel and Jacob, and see that I am good and just. The people need to see my body operating in power and might. A glorious church, my bride!
- To provide a place of protection and provision in the days to come. A place where my bride can be nourished and made pure.
- A place where I can manifest myself in glory through my people.” Abba
Goals of the Intentional Christian Community:
- A place To honor and worship God freely.
- To build a community based on Godly principles and relationships.
- To display the kingdom of God in operation on earth for all to see.
- To display the blessing of the Lord in its fullness that others would see and know the Lord’s goodness and love.
- A place of spiritual nourishment and purification.
- A community which has close bonds to the earth and all creation.
- A community which works in harmony to meet as many of its basic needs as possible, while also being a light in the greater community of its neighbors.
- To establish a working pattern for the replication of its success in other communities.
