A Word of the Lord for the land of Jamaica…
Revival is Coming!
Given to Mark Bevan, bond servant of The Lord, Jesus Christ. August 27, 2014.
To the assembly of saints who are in Jamaica, to those called of God to intercede for His people;
“Oh my children, my dear and precious children. Hear these words.
I say behold, for you stand at the doorstep of a great revival, which is about to come to the land of Jamaica. I say to you this day, that even now the fires of revival are burning in the hearts of many of my children.
Today I am calling up a people. A people that will go before Me and pray. A people who will unite to stand in the gap for my children here in Jamaica.
I say to you my children, this revival shall surely come, and it shall come in great power and might. Indeed, it is not only in Jamaica that the flames of my end time revival are burning, for I am building fires around the world even now. These fires are being fanned by the willing hearts of my servants, who cry out to Me day and night.
These are the people I am calling in this day. A people who will go forth proclaiming this message throughout the land, proclaiming my glory in the earth.
“I speak to those with eyes to see and ears to hear. For this message is but for a few. A few who know My ways, who know My heart. For those few, who will hear this message and receive it, they shall go forth in great faith, proclaiming My word, and the few shall become many!”
My children, you say, “Why now, why Jamaica?” But I say to you, I have heard the cries of your heart. I have seen the oppression of the enemy. But know this, the oppression which you witness, is not of flesh and blood. Remember My word, which says, you wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness in high places.
For too long, you have seen your brothers and sisters as your enemies. But know that your enemy is not of this world. I say rise up my children, put aside your worldly and doctrinal differences, and unite as one with a common purpose.
I say, if you shall pray for your enemies in this world, you shall see My Spirit go forth before you, and you shall witness the barriers and walls of separation crumble to the ground. I say to you this day, that out of the ashes shall come a new, and great nation. A nation which shall serve and worship Me in spirit and truth.
“These days are not far off My children. For behold they are just around the corner!”
But first, I need a people who will rise up and pray. Pray that My will shall be done in this place. Pray that the hearts of the fathers and the sons will be turned to Me. Pray that the swords shall be beaten into plowshares. Pray that I would send a spirit of repentance, that the heart of the people would turn and worship Me.
“Pray that the walls which separate my people would crumble and fall.”
If you will lay yourselves down, casting your cares at My feet, and seek My face. Then you shall know My will. You shall pray and I will hear from Heaven and heal this land.
Yes, My children, great evil abounds in this world, and I say the darkness shall only grow darker. But remember, where there is sin, so much more there is My grace in abundance. Where there is darkness, look to Me for I shall bring forth a great light in these days, and darkness cannot hide that which is revealed, in the light of My presence and glory.
“Jamaica, I say to you…
You shall rise up and be a voice to the nations… You have been a slave to this world long enough. Now you shall rise up in glory and power!
From your shores shall flow rivers of living water, and from your hills shall spring forth the voice of my prophets, declaring My word with boldness, as the sound of thunder.
From your high mountains shall spring forth praise, and it shall be as a mighty wind, carrying the voice of My spirit throughout the earth.
From you, men shall go forth, great men of faith, carrying with them the gospel of reconciliation and restoration. They shall go into all the world and preach the good news and many shall hear and believe. Great exploits, the likes of which men have not seen, shall be done in My name for I am with them to do My will in the earth.
The wealth of the nations shall flow to you, Jamaica, for you shall be my people, and you shall be blessed in these days. For the days of your poverty have ended and for your poverty you shall have double. “
My children, great struggles are about to come to this earth. Great tribulation and evil lie at the threshold. I am cleansing my people in these days, that they might be made ready, for My son’s return. Shrink not back at this, at my refining fires. For they are the furnace which burns off the dross. Out of affliction you have come, out of the fiery furnace. But my children I am burning off the bonds which have held you in captivity for so long, that you might be set free. To those who have ears to hear, listen and believe these words, for they shall surely come to pass. Rise up my children, rise up out of the ashes and trust in The Lord your God. For I am great and mighty to deliver.”
Thus says The Lord God.
In 2012, while standing in the congregation of a small church in Flankers, Montego Bay, Jamaica, I was called to be a witness of the Gospel, to the people of Jamaica.
Recently, The Lord has placed a heavy burden on my heart to pray for great revival to break forth throughout the land. I received this word in my prayer time in 2014.
My wife, Karie, and I have been so blessed by the people of Jamaica over the last 30 years, and it is our deepest desire to give back in any way that God allows us to.
