There comes a point where the rains start falling, the waters begin to rise, and the door is closing! I can’t sugarcoat this post. To do so would be to lie about the severity of the situation.

There are two schools of thought on the future of America as a nation.

The United States of America Restored?

There are many prophets out there speaking that all will be well. Perhaps a little shaking, but God is going to restore the political system of the United States of America, as it was at the beginning. Then we will be a Godly nation again. Many are putting all their hope in a man… Looking at that man as some sort of Messiah, sent by God, who will take back their kingdom from the beast which currently rules over the people.

To me that sounds exactly what the Jews were thinking in the days of Jesus. It didn’t end well for them. In fact as I recall, not a stone was left untouched. Their city of refuge was destroyed. Their great temple laid to ruin.

America Destroyed?

Others are prophesying utter destruction for the nation. Tsunamis, earthquakes, war, asteroids and plagues. The judgement of God on a sinful nation who has left her first love. To understand this we must first understand what is written, and what is written does not look good for The United States Of America.

The purpose of this post is not to explain why I believe America will fall, but to warn you to get ready. But, if you are unsure of whether we agree on the fate of America, I suggest reading “The Beast Rising & Mystery Babylon” a chapter in my book Awake Mount Zion. It will provide much more clarity on the subject.

Get ready, the flood is coming.

If you look close enough, the writing has been on the wall for some time now. So what do we do? I know good friends who love the Lord, who say, “I believe the rapture is coming, but I’m preparing in case it doesn’t.” That is absurd double minded thinking that will probably get them killed. You can not set your heart to do two things at once. This is not a situation where we want to be perfecting our multi-tasking skills.

Let’s just assume for a moment the flood is indeed coming. The man busy preaching about the rapture is going to be too engaged in his argument, to get in the ark. First of all, whatever life boat he built just in case will probably not carry him very far. Lifeboats are like the little doughnut spare tires. They can help you out for a very short time, but are not designed to be permanent fixtures. Lifeboats are designed to keep you barely alive as long as possible, insuring the highest chance of a safe rescue. But, who is going to be there to rescue that person… after all he just missed his “rescue”. Not because he was “left behind” but simply because he had bad information.

Jesus himself, warned that the times would be very difficult towards the end. Nowhere does He talk about an easy escape. Even if there was an escape, would it be the lazy American church raptured away? The ones who have never experienced any persecution? Or would it be the Christians in China, Iran, or Africa who live their lives under the threat of death every day because of their faith? Let’s get real with ourselves!

I believe the Lord has a different plan. Destruction of this world as we know it is coming. Governments will fall, nations will be crushed under the weight of the coming beast. The planet will be ravaged in wars of epic proportions and great devastation is on the doorstep. Yet, God has in the past sheltered His people from the great storms, and will do so again! After all, Jesus said it would be as it was in the days of Noah.

So what then… Get in touch with God! Seek Him with everything you have. Figure out what his plan of protection is for you. It may be getting in someone elses’s boat, or it may be building one for your family and the ones you are to rescue. Either way, the choice is very simple… get in the ark, or you will drown with all the rest. Noah and his family had the same choice. Even though he built the ark, he still had to make the decision to get aboard. It must have been very scary. It must have been very overwhelming. Listen to my words… the sounds of the screaming, drowning men around you, as was witnessed by the few survivors of the Titanic tragedy, will be almost unbearable to hear. You may be powerless to help in that day. But yet you will have saved your household. You will have given up your life, your time for the sake of saving the lives of others, even if only a few. That’s a harsh reality, but a true one.

Get with the Lord now. Be sure you are standing on a solid rock, and not just floating around on someone else’s misinformation. Build a boat, and let that boat be the testimony of your faith in God in a perishing world. God did not label Noah as a foolish prepper. Instead, he is listed in the hall of faith. Be like Noah!
